About

Ashley Epner (She/Her) is an aspiring Animator, Writer, and Illustrator from New York.

She is currently attending SCAD (Savannah College of Art & Design) where she plans on majoring in 2D Animation. She graduated from Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts and majored in Fine Art. She likes to use dynamic compositions and striking colors in her artwork.

Since Middle School, Aegis has been creating stories through her own original characters and worlds. She plans to bring those stories to the mediums of Animation and Comics, and use her artistic talents in junction with her passion for storytelling.

I received a Silver Key for this piece in 2023, awarded by the Scholastic Art and Writing Awards.

This piece was created in 2022 and was a school assignment with the mission of creating a comic that plays with space.

Fire of Knowledge

I received an honorable mention for this piece in 2023, awarded by the Scholastic Art and Writing Awards.

This piece was created in 2022 and was made during my time at a Pre-College experience at RISD. This animation features two original characters of mine which can be seen in the character design tab.
